GAFX 2025, Asia’s largest event celebrating Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comics, brought together some of the brightest minds and most influential leaders from across India’s AVGC-XR industry. This year, APVAGA proudly represented Andhra Pradesh, highlighting the state’s growing role and enthusiasm in shaping India’s creative technology future.
The APVAGA delegation featured Rudra Balaji (President of APVAGA and Virtual Production Supervisor at Ramoji Film City), Sridhar Reddy (Founder & CEO of JustVFX Studios and Vice President of APVAGA), Ravi Kumar Kothapalli (Director of Hornbill Studios and Secretary of APVAGA), Meghana Tirumalasetty (Co-Founder of Little Black Star VFX and Joint Secretary of APVAGA) and Anjani (Creative Producer at ETV).
Throughout the three-day event, the team engaged with AVGC professionals, studios, and educators from across India, exchanging ideas and exploring collaborations to strengthen the creative ecosystem. A highlight of the event was the roundtable conference, convening AVGC-XR associations from across the country to shape a unified national framework. The discussion brought together state-level organisations, industry leaders and creative technologists to explore how collaboration can accelerate India’s footprint in animation, VFX, gaming and immersive media. Through shared insights and alignment of strategies, the participating associations affirmed the need for coordinated policy advocacy, talent exchange, infrastructure development and investment promotion.
GAFX 2025 served as a powerful reminder of the possibilities that emerge when creative minds unite. For APVAGA, it was not just about representation — but about setting the stage for Andhra Pradesh’s creative community to thrive, inspire, and lead the next wave of digital innovation.
