APVAGA offers three types of annual memberships designed to support individuals, studios, and educational institutions across the creative media ecosystem.
Professional Annual Membership — ₹5,000 / year
Ideal for individual artists, freelancers, and professionals working in Animation, VFX, Gaming, or XR.
Corporate Annual Membership
- Startup Studio: ₹10,000 / year
- Growing Studio: ₹25,000 / year
- Established Studio: ₹50,000 / year
Perfect for studios and production companies looking to expand, collaborate, and access APVAGA’s industry network.
Institutional Annual Membership
- College: ₹10,000 / year
- Institution: ₹25,000 / year

All memberships are valid for one year and include exclusive access to APVAGA events, training programs, resources, and networking opportunities.
Who looks at my Membership application?
All membership applications are carefully reviewed by the APVAGA Membership Committee. Our team evaluates each application to ensure eligibility and completeness based on the chosen membership category. Once reviewed, eligible applicants are contacted by the APVAGA team to complete the registration and payment process.
How long will it take to review my application?
APVAGA has a membership year that runs from 1 June to 31 May, and deadlines for applications may vary between different types of membership. We will send you a confirmation email after you submit your application with more information about when you can expect to hear from us.
Will I hear back if my application is unsuccessful?
Yes, we will contact you by email regardless of the outcome of your application. Although we aim to contact all applicants in a timely fashion, you may not hear from us at the same time as other applicants.
What happens after I become a member?
Once your membership is confirmed, you’ll receive a welcome email with your Membership ID and branding guidelines. You’ll also gain access to the APVAGA Member Portal, where you can manage your profile and stay updated on association activities. Members receive a digital and physical ID card for official recognition within the AVGC-XR community. You’ll be notified about upcoming events, meetings, and initiatives, including opportunities to participate in the Annual General Meeting (AGM) as part of the association’s governance process.
How long do I have to take up Membership?
We expect new members to accept the offer of membership by making a payment within four weeks of being accepted.
When should I renew my Membership?
Memberships are valid for one year from the date of joining or renewal. You will receive reminders from the APVAGA Membership Team before your membership expiry, so you can renew on time and continue enjoying uninterrupted access to member benefits.
How can members renew or cancel their membership?
Memberships are valid for one year from the date of joining. Renewal reminders are sent before expiry, and members can renew online via the APVAGA portal. To cancel a membership, members can email their request to info@apvaga.org.
